Several attacks and threats against Sinn Féin members have taken place over the last couple of days, heading to todays' the Westminster election.

Sortu wants to show its full solidarity to Sinn Féin elected representatives. Sortu denounces in the strongest terms this attempt to intimidate Sinn Féin members and calls on those responsible for this actions to stop them and respect the will of the people.

We defend the progress and gains of the peace process and show our commitment to keep our support to Sinn Féin and its peace strategy. We therefore reject these attempts to drag the situation back to the past.
