SORTU denounces the arrest of Musa Dube, Communist Party of Swaziland Deputy General by Swazi special units and demands his immediate release.
On the 14th of September the Swazi police special unit, Lukhozi, arrested Communist Party of Swaziland (CPS) Deputy General Secretary Musa Dube while he was campaigning for a boycott of the so called "elections" that are going to be held by the "Mswati" regime on the 20th of September.
Musa Dube was conducting campaign work to promote free and fair elections in Swaziland, where all political parties will be able to participate on whichever platform they want. These coming elections in Swaziland do not fulfil any of these demands. They are undemocraticaly conducted for Mswati to select who will serve him best.
Sortu denounces the arrest of Musa Dube and demand his release, as well as the release of all swazi political prisoners. We demand the end of the Mswati regime and free and fair elections for a democratic change.
