This coming October 17th there will begin in the Spanish National Court the trial for the 35/02 summary. This is the cause that will try 40 militants of the Abertzale Left for their political work done from the Abertzale Left. Once more we have to speak of a political trial.

For two reasons:

  • First, because they will try 40 people for their political activity.
  • And the second and main reason: because with this trial the Spanish state seeks a political objective.

The representatives of SORTU Gorka Elejabarrieta and Igor Zulaika have been present in the presentation of the recommendations of the Social Forum that took place in the British Parliament.

The presentation has been organized by the "All-Party Parliamentary Group on Conflict Issues" and was presided by the liberal democrat Lord Aderdice, who was president of Assembly in the North of Ireland between 1998 and 2004.
