The Ogaden National Liberation Front Salutes SORTU and the Basque people. The Formation of SORTU is an important milestone in the Basque people's struggle for exercise of right of Self Determination and democracy. ONLF calls for the peaceful resolution of the Basque conflict.
The Ogaden National Liberation Front representing all the democratic and progressive forces of the Ogaden fully supports the rights of the Basque people to freedom, dignity and peace. The Ogaden people and the Basque people are not new to each other and had supported the causes of both peoples and all oppressed peoples of the world.
The Ogaden National Liberation front firmly believes in the rights of all nations to self-determination. ONLF supports and is an ally to all oppressed people struggling to achieve their right of self-determination and restoration of the sovereignty
The Somali people under Ethiopian occupation is undergoing very difficult period. The Ethiopian government, which is getting aid from international imperialism, is conducting scorched earth policies in Ogaden, violating the human, political and economic rights of the people. Thousands are in detention and hundreds are routine killed, raped and imprisoned by the Ethiopian Army and security forces with impunity, while Ethiopia gets more aid, the more it kills the Somali people in Ogaden. Multinational oil corporations are collaborating with the Ethiopian government that is displacing hundreds of thousands from their land and making them disinherited and refugees in the neighboring countries.
Finally ONLF, welcomes the support and cooperation of all progressive and democratic forces and will further its relationship with SORTU and the progressive alliance of the world.

The Communist Party of Swaziland extends its solidarity and greetings to you on the occasion of your important congress.
We are confident that you will use it to further your struggle for socialism and independence. This is crucial particularly given the protracted and intensified capitalist crisis that grips the EU area, and of course which is a major aspect of the global capitalist and imperialist catastrophe.
As with our own struggle in Swaziland, your struggle has specific national features, but is more widely rooted in the imperative of working class internationalism, which is now needed more than ever. It is this dialectic of the national and international that defines the special responsibility of communist, workers and socialist parties throughout the world.
The CPS hopes that our mutual contact, networking and practical solidarity will result in a knowledge and awareness among our respective members and more widely of the struggles and situations in our countries.
